with eyes wide shut they lead the way
into a hopeless vision of not knowing the other side
it's the blind leading the blind
further down the spiral we begin to toss and tumble
nothing to control us, we're beginning our decent
to a time and place where nothing is what it seems
when we cant trust our eyes will we see the signs?
with desperation, we're combing through the lies

refuse what you're fed, and open up your mind
against the grain we flow, disrupting the sands of time

they're painting another picture
they're filling in the lines
to simulate what they hold true
while blurring all the signs

when will we just open up our eyes
then we will see the deception we're faced with everyday

then we might realize the things they justify - the taking of our lives
